What are you looking at?
1. Went to the MoMarket last week (like I told you before) and bought a black leather belt and natural leather key chain. Both items are made by Gitte, where I bought a few items before. This includes one of my favorite necklaces, the rose golden tube necklace in the photo. The leather around the tube had the same color as the leather on the key chain. Can't wait to see how the key chain will 'age'.
2. Preview of an outfit I shot this weekend. Wearing head to toe Acne, on of my favorite brands! Gotta love Scandinavian design.
3 & 4. Denim workshops during the Beer and Burgers event at the Scotch and Soda store Arnhem. The workshop was organized by Michael Kampe and Alex Jaspers who are the men behind the denims.
5. One of the photos of the Fall Winter looks I created for Bartinki.
6. Studying with cards and online programs to help me learning the words. Had a Danish test last Tuesday and can't wait to get the result, hope I performed well enough.

Tomorrow we will fi-nal-ly get the keys to our new house (we've been busy with it for the last four months). So let the days of endless painting begin... hurray! xx

Fall-Winter with Bartinki

I created a sort of Fall Winter lookbook with items made by Bartinki. I visited the studio a while ago and lent a few of the fall winter items to shoot some looks with. Above you can find the different looks I've created. I especially loved the woolen vests which are available in many different colors. As to the accessories, I liked the headbands a lot and there are so many different ones; velvet, blue, glitter, etc.

Bartinki is a small and independent fashion label that creates garments in limited edition. The best thing about Bartinki is that it's eco fashion, meaning that the items are produced of so-called 'deadstock' (new waste such as industrial cut-offs, production excess, etc.). In my opinion it's always good when a designer is conscious-minded and produces sustainable items. Take a look at her website and have fun shopping! xx

London Fashion Week

These were my favorite collections during London Fashion Week. Loved the leather use and shapeless bottoms at J.W. Anderson which are the total opposites of the feminine and tight fitted skirts at the Burberry Prorsum show. I noticed that there were many designers who dressed their models in flat shoes. It's gonna be a very comfortable summer ;) at least that is if we may believe J.W. Anderson and Topshop Unique. The collection of Erdem was just amazing, wish I knew of any occasion where I could wear that stunning black or white dress. xx

POM Amsterdam bloggersevent

The ones that follow me on Instagram (@heritagemode) already know I went to a POM Amsterdam bloggersevent last thursday. Here are some photos of their beautiful HQ. There were hairstylists, a photographer, the sisters behind POM and of course a fun activity. We could customize our own scarf and there were two ladies present who sew them together directly. Everything was beautifully decorated with fun slogans and vases filled with flowers. Every piece of the newest collection looked amazing and the sisters also added multifunctional cozy ponchos to their winter collection.

A while ago I had a give-away on my blog, where you had the chance to win a POM Amsterdam scarf. You can find some more information about the brand POM Amsterdam and the sisters behind it in that post, find it here. Buy the newest collection at the POM webshop or at De Bijenkorf! xx

Swiss Mountains

Since the only photos I showed you yet were part of a Weekly I figured I'd might be fun to share a few more. So here are another eight photos to make you all very jealous ;) I mean it's way tooo beautiful over there. High up in the mountains is everything better, the air is crisp and clean, it's really peaceful and the view is breathtaking! I shot these photos during a hiking trip towards Kandesteg where we walked/climbed on top of a glacier. xx

New York Fashion Week

Which collection is your favorite? Loved the ones above and London Fashion Week is looking good as well! I love the boxy and oversized shapes and the cropped ankle length trousers. The shortie shorts in the Alexander Wang look great as well, a beautiful lipstick color at Rag & Bone and that green coat at Calvin Klein is just perfect! xx

Burkely bags

Two weeks ago I wrote a report on the John Beerens bloggersevent I'd visited. I told you that we'd also visited the Burkely showroom. Because I like the brand identity a lot I decided to tell you a bit more about Burkely, accompanied by some of the photos I took.

Burkely is a Dutch company and is part of Van Horsten Leatherfashion. They design and produce leather goods, mostly bags, for men and women. They've always had a women's collection and recently started designing a mens collection as well. The bags are designed in many different shapes, in various types of leather and available in a wide variety of colors. The coming collection consists of leather bags which almost all had light golden hardware (those who have been following me for a while probably know that I'm not the biggest fan of gold toned hardware). But we're being told that they are producing new designs with rosé colored hardware and that they frequently use silver toned hardware as well!

As you can see in the photos they use many different textures of leather, all genuine though. I like that they play with the material and come up with various types of bags. For instance with dyed leather,  they use both leather that has been bleached first before being pigmented with color (this provides very smooth colors, like this one) and leather that has been died without using a bleaching process (results in natural looking leather where the natural surface is still visible, like this one). In general all the leather, nubuck and suede they use is durable and has a beautiful appearance.

You can shop the bags at the John Beerens webshop. Below a few of my favorites: 1. Alice Hobo papaya €99,95 | 2. Hobo Pearl sand €89,95 | 3. Bridget Handbag cloud €139,95 | 4. Matilda Hobo black €149,95 | 5. Big Zippy Wallet peppermint €34,95 | 6. Flora Small Hobo cameltan €139,95

New York Fashion Week favorite: Proenza Schouler

As you know the newest collections are being showed in New York at this moment. I picked my favorite looks of the Proenza Schouler collection, I'll share more of other collections later. In a way I was blown away by the items in this Proenza Schouler collection. On the other hand I'm not that much surprised by it, but not in a bad way. I'm happy that the looks and style I liked the best last season are coming back but bigger this time. What I mean is that I cannot get enough of boxy shapes, cropped tops, leather items, intricate patterns and designs and longer bottoms. What do you think of this collection, any favorites so far? xx

Like I told you guys before I'm on a hiking trip in Swiss for a few days. So I thought why not share a few shots of the beautiful location I'm staying at and of course my fabulous hiking outfit ;) For those interested, I'm staying at the Lauchernalp in the Lötschen region. I'm trying to stay updated with everything that's going on during NYFW at this moment and will be home again on Tuesday. Good night, xx

Ecco Get Winterproof bloggersevent

Like I told you yesterday I was invited for the Ecco get winterproof event. Here are photos of the lovely evening. Obviously the evening was dedicated to the newest footwear and bag collection of Ecco. Those chelsea boots in the second photo were my absolute favorites. We could DIY our own leather clutch or bow tie necklace, I decided to make my own clutch. I picked sturdy black leather and  black waxed laces. On the third photo, shot by De Fotomeisjes, you can see me working on my clutch and in the fifth photo you can see the result.

Furthermore we could get cosy with some tea from mrs Cha, get a treatment from Aveda and get our make up done. Together with Lisanne from Fashionable & Me I went to the make-up corner and let some professionals do our make-up. Thereafter we had our photo taken with a 'real' viking for the true Scandinavian feeling because of Ecco's danish roots. Rowan and Alexandra won the first price because their photo with the sexy viking was the most original, Lisanne and I won the second price with our photo and we all got spoiled with a pair of Ecco booties. As you can see we got the sculptured 75 heels in bordeaux, super comfy winterproof heels! Thank you Marloes, Serena and Ecco for having us!! xx
