Weekly

Ph, Private

What are you looking at?
1. Lovely lunch from last week. We both had a day off so we could eat together.
2 & 6. I've been looking for the perfect black shopper for quite a while. I already got a black leather shopper from Maison Scotch with two silver zippers on front. My boyfriend gave me that one last week, but the day before I already ordered an other online. Love my other new black shopper as well, it is padded/quilted at both sides. There is a red lining inside and has beautiful black hardware. I also found that beautiful silk top, probably hand painted. The top has a feather like print and is from Ivoire de Balmain.
3 & 4. We made ourselves sushi today, love to eat it if we have some spare time.
5. Signs of autumn are everywhere.

Closet Affair

The inspiring closets above are from four people working in the fashion industry. The first closet is from tv-celebrity turned designer, Whitney Port. Love how organized her walk in closet is, but of course a closet like hers is every girls dream. I like the details, like the counter in the middle of the room with her perfume on it. The second closet is from on of my favorite bloggers, Leandra Medine from The Man Repeller. Just like me, she has organized all items on color and category (trousers go with trousers, all tops together..).

The third picture doesn't show a closet but the Headquarters from celebrity-stylist Rachel Zoe. According to Rachel, a stylist can never have to many shoes. The last picture shows the closet from fashion blogger Susie Lau aka StyleBubble. A lot of prints and color, but I didn't expect anything other.

Inspiration, DIY worthy

Sources, Unknown

While browsing through the saved image section, named: Inspiration, I stumbled on these ones. Starting with the first, what an amazing clutch that is. I guess this image is most recently added to my inspiration folder. I would love to make a little evening bag like this one myself. I think you could make something like this using a thick flexible chicken wire, but the only problem is the closure. So a sort of shopper definitely would be a potential option, at least, that is if you don't want to end up soldering a bag.

Second, I think putting some plastic or fabric figures on a shirt or top would be great. What I love the most about the one in the picture is the color combination, the pastels with the black and the lavender toned blazer, just wonderful. Those wire rings are really easy to make, that is, if you have a good bendable wire and some pliers. The necklace in the last picture is a sort of alike, so easy but the yet great.

PS I made a new wishlist (find it on the right side) if you have any ideas where to find these items, please let me know.

Bohemian & Denim Combi

Ph, Private

Bouclé Jacket: Maison Scotch | Denim Blouse: Thrifted | Jeans: Acne | Leather Tote: Maison Scotch | Booties: Acne

Some of you might already have seen my bag on Instagram (@heritagemode), but here are some proper photots. I'm so happy with this bag. I've been searching for a black leather tote for a while, but never seemed able to find the perfect one. Last week this bag finally hit the stores and my boyfriend knew I would like it so he directly bought it for me! The day before I ordered a black tote at Zara. The postman delivered it yesterday, also a beautiful bag with amazing black hardware. I will show it soon.

Simple Accessories

Sometimes the most simple accessories can be so cool. If you know where to look, you can find the most amazing items, all hard not to want. Fashion books always are a great investment, but it's always difficult to decide which one to buy next. I think the book I will soon add to my collection will be the new Sartorialist: 'Closer'. How gorgeous are those Matriochkas wooden dolls, would love to put those on our fireplace.
Find the items by clicking on the relevant link underneath.

J.W. Anderson for Topshop photo rubiks cube - €15,-
Maison Martin Margiela Claustrophobic small notebook - €16
COS Segment leather keyring - €12,-
The Sartorialist Closer by Scott Schuman book - €65,-
Maison Martin Margiela Anomyous Russian dolls - €145,-
See by Chloé Monkey keyfob - € 95,-

Red Lips

Ph, Private

Leather sleeved jacket: Maison Scotch | Sweater: H&M Trend | Trousers: Maison Scotch
Boots: Deena & Ozzy | Beaded Collar: Maison Scotch | Hat: Thrifted

Sometimes I like wearing bright vibrant colors. So I decided to grab red trousers out of the back of my closet and pull them on. What is better than putting on some red lipstick while wearing red trousers. The lipstick I wore is number 104 'Passion' from Chanel. I know I keep saying that it's getting really cold, but I guess I just didn't expected it so soon. Although I'm really happy that I can wear all inbetween jackets again.

3. Coco having the couch for himself. His favorite sleeping spot.
4. Pluis in my closet, hiding for his brother Coco.

Fringed Vest

Ph, Private

Fringed Suede Vest: Vila Luxe | Silk blouse: Thrifted | Leather Trousers: Humanoid | Necklaces: Maison Scotch

Since it's already getting dark outside, we took a quick shot inside yesterday. I bought this leather vest a while ago, but didn't know what to wear it with. Like I told you before, you can wear so much more when it's getting colder. I love layers, so I think that I'm going to shop next week to buy some more long-sleeved knits and tees.

Have a nice weekend!

Fall is Coming

Ph, Private

Jacket: Thrifted Armani | Sweat: Won Hundred | Denim: Acne | Boots: Acne
Silk Scarf: Vintage | Belt: Thrifted | Necklace: COS | Nailpolish: Metallic Green Gosh

Can't believe the weather is changing this quickly. Three weeks ago you could go outside without being in need of a coat or scarf but these days people almost start wearing gloves. In front of my house the trees are almost completely turned yellow/orange and a lot of leafs already fell on the ground. Guess it's time to take the knitwear out of the closet and put them in sight. I like the cold weather because I can easily wear two long-sleeved items together and almost everything in my closet will at least be worn once during wintertime.

Coveteur at London Fashion Week

All photos by The Coveteur

Found these photos at the Coveteur.com. They mainly hunt through the closets and houses from people working in the fashion industry. But during London Fashion Week they also took some photos on the runways and backstage. The first two photos show Anna Dello Russo and Scott Schuman on the streets during the shows. The second two photos are made backstage at the Marios Schwab show. The third pair is taken at the Mary Katrantzou show, love her hectic printed clothes. The last two photos are taken during the  Jonathan Saunders show. What an amazing huge round sunglasses, I know what I'll buy coming summer.

BTW this is my 200th post!

Asos Wishlist

Ph, Private

Asos Dogtooth sweater and Asos Waffle knit. I'm searching for some fall winter knits in stores, but it seems that I can't find nice ones. So maybe I'm going to order one of these from Asos. I'm going thriftshopping for some knits soon as well. Have you already bought winter items?

Weekly

Ph, Private

What are you looking at?
1. Love this nailpolish. I'm not really a purple fan but I have to say that this shade is really amazing, it's called 117 Smokey Violet from KOH!
2 & 8. Some photos from 'My hat collection' were I posted about last week. It was quite hilarious to take photos of all my hats. I kept calling things like: ''Stop, this hat needs a braid!, Wait I want my hair on my back!, Am I pulling a weird face?, Shall I smile with or without showing my teeth?''. I was giving Mart a hard time, but he didn't complain and took all photos within an hour.
3 & 5 & 7. A few photos which I took in Sonsbeek park last week. The nature is starting to show signs of upcoming fall yet.
4. Some food, just one food-picture this week.

Red Leather Jacket

Ph, Private

Leather Jacket: Episode | Top: Thrifted | Levi's Jeans: Thrifted | Shoes: Clark Originals
Silk Scarf: Vintage | Bag: Cowboys Bag

Bought this leather jacket a while ago, finally the weather allowed me to wear it. I'm really in love with the red color of this jacket. Those who follow me already knew that I have a huge crush on leather jackets. I realized that I only had black leather jackets. When I saw this oxblood leather jacket I just knew I needed to buy it. So I did and I'm really happy with it.

Looks

Ph, Asos

I like both looks from the Asos magazine for coming Fall-Winter a lot. The acid denim look is just great, that top has an amazing fit. The woolen coat is on my wishlist as well, it comes with a leather gilet!

Velvet Bomber Jacket

Ph, Private

Velvet Bomber Jacket: Thrifted | Tee: American Apparel | Leather Skirt: Thrifted | Boots: Acne
Camera bag: StyleScrapbook for Kipling | Necklace: Maison Scotch | Bracelet: COS

Today I finally wore the velvet bomber jacket I bought a few months ago. I haven't worn it yet because it was still too hot. I love this jacket because of its silver zipper, boxy fit and I like the quilted lining. It think it goes pretty will with almost every outfit and it's in style of the amazing Givenchy silk printed bombers.

I have loads of stuff to do for the Uni, can't believe it's still the second week of this year. I've got the feeling that I'm in the middle of the year though, because of the amazing amount of stuff I need to read, ugh.. I don't even have found the time to read my magazines and watch all NY shows.

My Hat Collection

Ph, Private

Black hat with long cap: DIY | Burgundy hat with navy trimming: Thrifted | Caramel woolen hat: Thrifted
Black Ufo hat: Thrifted | Blue woven hat: Scotch & Soda | Antique pink woolen hat: Thrifted
Black cap with flower: Vintage | Striped paper  brimmed hat: Lacoste | Black hat men: Thrifted
Pink woolen hat: Topshop | Blue slouchy straw hat: Primark

Yesterday I replaced my pile of hats. In my opinion I have quite some hats, but unfortunately I don't wear them as often as I should. I decided that I wanted to show some hats, so Mart took some photos. Of course I don't own only hats, I also have a lot of caps and beanies. Here you have an impression of my hat collection, which ones do you like the best?
